Introducing Tyler & Theo Ajala

As part of the Framing Marks Gate series we photographed and interviewed a series of local residents and key workers who have played an interesting role on Marks Gate. Meet Tyler and Theo Ajala, Marks Gate residents and twins aged 6. Both Tyler and Theo (perhaps the cutest Marks Gate residents we have met so far) have attended lots of our art activities on Marks Gate with mum Surena Stevens, Marks Gate’s very own Cupcake Queen.

Tell us a little bit about yourself

We both live on Marks Gate and go to Marks Gate Infants School, we are in year 1.

Theo: I like drawing, colouring and running.

Tyler: I like playing football and racing cars.

Our mum makes the best cakes!

We live here.

How long have you known Marks Gate?

6 years.

What are your experiences of Marks Gate?

All of our friends live here, we play football over on the park (Tantony Green) and at school.

Tell us a special memory that you have of Marks Gate.

We really enjoyed taking part in our mum’s cupcake workshops! We also help sometimes when she has lots of cakes to make.
