52 years
What are your experiences of Marks Gate?
There seemed to be more for young people to do years ago. Today we find that there seem to be more of them out on the streets not doing very much, they need more activities to get involved in.
Through the years you get to know people of our age within the community, make friends and acquaintances, and because of this we feel like we are part of this community.
Tell us a special memory that you have of Marks Gate.
Pat: Tuesdays at the Marks Gate Community Centre, I come to ‘Knit and Natter’ in the morning then Brian joins me in the afternoon for ‘Tea-Time Tuesday’ with artist Sadia. It’s our highlight of the week!
