Creative Cafe Farewell Party

We are very sad to say that tomorrow (Tuesday 31st January) is our final day on Marks Gate as part of the Creative Cafe project. We’ve had a brilliant time with residents across the borough visiting our pop-up on the estate, taking part in our many creative activities and sampling our fabulous cakes from Avril’s Platters over the last 9 months. We would like to say a special thank you to the residents of Marks Gate and Chadwell Heath for taking part, coming back lots and making our time so brilliant during the last 9  months. A special thank you also goes out to staff from Marks Gate Community Centre and the Children’s Centre, your support has made this project possible, thank you for giving us the freedom and space to be creative! Thank you also to our wonderful volunteers, your commitment and dedication has been second to none and we will miss you! And lastly our funders: the Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund and the Big Lottery Fund, we couldn’t have done this without you!

We hope we will be back soon!

So please do join us as we host a farewell ‘Creative Cafe Party’, we want to celebrate the fabulous time we have had with you all, we will be there from 10.30 am till 4.30pm. There will be tea, cakes and some of our previous popular arty activities.
