Arty Party celebrates the return of the Creative Cafe
We had a brilliant time hosting the Marks Gate Arty Party on Tuesday 5th April, with over 130 residents attending and helping us to celebrate the return of the Creative Cafe to Marks Gate. Guests added their portraits to our ‘Marks Gate Wall of Fame’, made a matchbox-sized piece of art and traced the outline of their bodies for our large mural. We also asked people to vote on the creative activities they would like to take part in at the Creative Cafe and also add their own ideas, this has formed our creative programme for the first 3 months.

We officially relaunch the Creative Cafe on Tuesday 3rd May, 10am – 4pm, and will be open thereafter every Tuesday and Friday with a new creative workshop to take part in. We’ll also be selling our selection of fine teas, coffee and delectable cakes by local business Avril’s Platters.
